Awareness Through Movement® uses slow, mindful movements that integrate body and mind to achieve powerful effects, like reduced pain, mental clarity and physical agility.It is deeply soothing, relaxing and rejuvenating.
Each class guides you through a series of simple movements (often lying down) that help you identify and release tension patterns keeping you stuck. The movements are easy to do and build on each other, gradually guiding you toward greater self-awareness, including a sense of how to move in a better way that feels light, effortless and clear.
In a class you move a bit, repeating a movement, then pause and rest for a moment in order for the integration to occur.
Great for people who want an alternative option for a group movement class that doesn't require experience and not only helps you move better and be healthier, but brings you into deeper connection with yourself and the present moment.
