Hailing from Oregon's Willamette Valley, Tyler John Hartman brings a distinctive and eccentric take on folk music. Through crashing waves of sound and frequent guitar acrobatics, Tyler constructs moody and often fiery landscapes. His stripped back live performances carry the growl and nuance of his recorded material, while focusing more on the stories and characters within his compositions. With his recent release of the "Monster Eyes EP," Tyler runs the gambit from the foot stomping rowdiness of "This is a Nightmare" to the cool swagger of "Monster Eyes," and everything in between. There's even some pensive classic folk in there for the purists, with the tracks "Yellowbottom" and "The Bones of My Enemies." You'll also likely hear some folked-out versions of your favorite 90's alternative rock songs. There are no rules.

With soaring vocals and piercing, heartful lyrics full of the kind of introspection that has been known to quiet even the largest of concert halls, Christina's music evokes an impressively wide and immersive range of emotions.
