Art Exhibit Opening at Cathedral Ridge Winery
July 17th at 5-7 pm at Cathedral Ridge Winery, 4200 Post Canyon Dr, Hood River.
This is an opportunity to meet local artists Yazmin Villegas, Michelle Yamamoto and Cindy Ives, each with their own unique style and mediums. Savor a glass of wine and some hors d’oeuvres as you enjoy their art! The exhibit will be up through August.
Yazmin is an emerging artist whose work features sumi ink, acrylic and ink pens. She is very excited to have her art displayed at Cathedral Ridge Winery along with other artists and thanks you for your support. yazminstudio.com
Michelle Yamamoto is known for acrylic paintings that utilize imaginative storytelling with references to contemporary culture as well as her foreign travels. She also applies the art of story to her work as a muralist: you can see her public murals on Diamond Growers fruit packing warehouse in Odell, Hood River Museum of History and at Hood River Valley High School in a project funded by the Racial Justice Institute, slated to be displayed in August 2023. michelleyamamotoart.com
Cindy Ives’ paintings feature the medium of alcohol inks. She utilizes the inks’ energetic vibrancy and unpredictability to create vivid florals and landscapes. cindyivesart.com/gallery
