
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY ANNUAL BOOK SALE
ATTENTION BOOK LOVERS! The Friends of the White Salmon Valley Community Library will host a Spring Used Book and Multi-Media Sale on Friday, March 17th through Sunday, March 19th in the Sprint/Baker Gallery inside the library. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community with great book donations, this promises to be one of the largest and best sales ever!
The sale will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday. The Sale will feature a bag sale on Sunday when you can fill a bag with books for only $3. (Please bring your own bags.)
A PRE-SALE for members of Friends of the Library will be held on Thursday, March 16th from 5 to 8 pm. Not a member? Not a problem. Annual memberships will be available for purchase at the door, at $5 for students or seniors, $15 for individuals, and $25 for families.
This is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and proceeds from the sale support many of the programs offered by the library, including child and adult literacy, STEM activities, arts and crafts, teen programs, the annual White Salmon Wassail event, and much more.
Please help spread the word, and bring your friends to get some great buys and support the White Salmon Valley community. Current popular fiction and non-fiction, children’s books, cookbooks, reference and self-help books, classic literature, as well as videos and music CD’s, and much more can be found at the sale We will also have a huge collection of vintage books and collectibles. We have received some great donations of beautiful art books that will be available.
Remember, if you can’t make the sale, you can buy used books all year long at the Friends’ Book Store located inside the library, open during regular library hours, Monday through Saturday 10-6.
