Hometown Dinner w/ Live Music
The Dufur Threshing Bee is back! The 2nd weekend of August, the town turns out with this vibrant small-town festival celebrating 175 years of local wheat farming. Threshing Bee includes incredible living-history demonstrations, a classic small-town parade, a tractor pull competition, craft fair, and antique car show. Visitors tour the old one room schoolhouse, log cabin, cookhouse and blacksmith shop.
As the day cools down on Saturday, we gather on the shady grounds of the Historic Balch Hotel for a hometown steak dinner (4 – 7pm) and live music with Jess Clemons (4 – 6pm.) To guarantee quantities, pre-orders for dinner are kindly requested.
Cost: $22 per person, kids $10 (gratuity not included) — pre-order here
