Rather than charge a monthly or annual subscription fee to help cover the cost of operations we rely on donations from our members to assist us in offsetting the cost of providing the service.

Vortex Gorge Race #2 – presented by Nelo & NK

The Gorge paddling community has come together to bring you the Vortex Gorge Series, a three race paddling series in the Heart of the Gorge. Gorge Canoe Club, Nelo USA / Nordic Kayaks USA and Puakea Designs are excited to host these races with the help of the community. The dates have been set for May 21, June 4 and June 25, 2023.
Vortex Gorge Race #2 – presented by Nelo USA and Nordic Kayaks USA. This race will be held on June 4, 2023.
Tentative race course:
Downwind race starting at Bob’s Beach (Stevenson, WA) and ending in Home Valley.
Schedule*:
Saturday June 3
Home Valley, WA
9:00 – 12:00 Demo’s – NK & Nelo
Afternoon: Paddling Workshop
6 – 7pm Mixer event at Gorge Canoe Club, including race check-in
Sunday June 4
Bob’s Beach, WA
9-10am check-in/registration (hard stop at 10am)
10:15am course meeting
11:00am race start at Bob’s Beach
12:00-1:00pm race finish at Home Valley
1:30-3pm Awards / Raffle at Backwoods Brewing
