
White Salmon Library: Meet Shelby Van Pelt, Author of “Remarkably Bright Creatures”
The White Salmon Valley Community Library “Community Reads” book is Remarkably Bright Creatures. On Thursday, October 5, author Shelby Van Pelt Joins us virtually for an interactive conversation about Tova and Marcellus and other aspects of her debut novel. Shelby was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, and currently resides in a suburb of Chicago with her family. Remarkably Bright Creatures is a New York Times bestseller and was featured on Jenna Bush’s Book Club on The Today Show.
