Pedro Pascal is the latest sex symbol, with TikTok users fawning over the actor’s good looks and sense of humor. One shelter decided to capitalize on The Last of Us star’s fame by naming one of their animals after him — and it paid off.
The Kansas Humane Society named a tabby cat with white markings Pedro Pspspscal and launched an aggressive campaign to get him adopted.
They superimposed Pedro the cat onto Pedro the human in screenshots from The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, in which the actor stars alongside Nicolas Cage — along with snaps from The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.
“Pedro Pspspscal is daddy and we all love this famous boi,” the Twitter post reads. “Here’s some of his most famous scenes.”
The post blew up and the kitty was adopted the next day. The shelter tweeted, “He got adopted yesterday, but we currently have 24 cats that would love to go home with you!”
They also hope Pascal meets his kitty doppelgänger one day.
