99% voted in favor of authorizing a strike. That means that if the airline doesn’t come up with a fair contract, flight attendants could call a strike and walk off the job.

How did we get here?

American Airlines flight attendants haven’t gotten a raise since 2019. And they’re paid only for the work they do on the plane after doors close — not during boarding.
